I’ve been listening to Jon Foreman’s solo projects for awhile now, so when I found out that he was on the move I got real excited and decided to snag some tickets.  It turns out he’s been writing with Sean Watkins of Nickel Creek, not straying to far from the sounds of his own work.  He also played some of his solo project songs live, and they also covered an Arcade Fire song...

my car is a salt machine right now…apparently they oversalt the roads in jersey i was leaving jersey and got a call from an anonymous number…it turned out to be the salters of new jersey, they asked for all their salt back and that i couldn’t bring it into another state.  i refused to comply

Intro to Service  I wasn’t able to successfully record the band playing at Winter Retreat, but this video was played and the band played overtop with a click track and so it lined up with them (as opposed to this song, which is close, but i just put in there to get an idea of what it was like).

2nd speed the light video It was supposed to be finished like a month ago, but i just added all the cleanup touches this past week. I’m pretty excited though because the national STL director watched the Pearla and David videos and he loved them and wants to send them out nationally and make them available to all the DYDs. So it’s pretty cool…i didn’t really expect that...
